TUOMO KUOSA

CO-DIRECTOR OF FUTURES CAPACITY

Tuomo is a visionary futurist and Co-Director of Futures Capacity at Futures Diamond Ltd (UK). He is also the driving force behind Futures Platform, where he serves as the co-founder and long-standing Director of the multi-disciplinary Futures Research Team. As an Adjunct Professor (Docent) of Strategic Foresight at the Finnish National Defence University, his expertise is both deep and wide-ranging. An accomplished author, Dr. Kuosa has penned dozens of research papers and four influential books on foresight, including “The Epoch Change Ahead of Us” and Gower’s “The Evolution of Strategic Foresight.” His career spans prestigious institutions like the Finland Futures Research Centre and the Centre of Excellence for National Security at RSIS in Singapore. Dr. Kuosa has collaborated with leading organizations such as the Finnish Security and Intelligence Service on strategic intelligence research, and has developed extensive scenario-building manuals for the Finnish Defense Forces’ Research Agency’s Concepts and Doctrines Division. With two decades of experience in strategic foresight, futures scenarios, and strategy development, Dr. Kuosa's contributions to the field resonate globally.
