Torsti Loikkanen is Principal Scientist in Innovation at Futures Diamond Ltd, with a remarkable track record in industrial innovation and policy analysis. With decades of experience, Torsti specializes in evaluating and assessing the impact of science, technology, and innovation (STI) policies, as well as developing forward-looking strategies that drive sustainable growth. His expertise spans the performance of innovation systems, globalization of STI policies, and sustainable development practices, including Corporate Social Responsibility and Life Cycle Assessment.

Torsti's work has been instrumental in shaping foresight methodologies and advancing innovation policies across multiple continents. A founding member of key international innovation networks and a life-long member of The Technology Academy of Finland, Torsti’s visionary approach continues to influence global innovation landscapes, making him an invaluable asset to the Futures Diamond team.
