ROBERT PRZEKOP

SENIOR MATERIALS EXPERT

Robert is our Senior Materials Expert, bringing decades of specialized expertise in materials chemistry, heterogeneous catalysis, and biofuels. A distinguished alumnus of the Department of Chemistry at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, he has been driving innovation at the Center for Advanced Technology (WCZT) since 2011. His pioneering work in materials technology and chemical engineering has significantly advanced ethanol and biofuel production, effectively bridging cutting-edge academic research with practical market applications.

Beyond his academic leadership, Prof. Przekop Beng has excelled in high-impact industry roles, including serving as a Technologist at the Poznań Science and Technology Park and as Deputy Director for Innovation and Technological Development at BGW WPH sp. z o.o. His multidisciplinary research seamlessly integrates chemistry, materials engineering, and mechanical engineering to enhance polymers, biopolymers, and organosilicon compounds, while also spearheading renewable energy and hydrogen energy transition initiatives. His commitment to incorporating robotics and automation has further optimized research processes and fostered sustainable production methods.

An active leader in the scientific community, Prof. Przekop Beng holds key positions in several professional associations, including the Association of Engineers and Technicians of Chemical Industry (Poznań Branch), the Polish Society of Composite Materials, the Polish Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association, and the Polish Zeolite Association. With over 150 publications and 20+ patent applications to his name, his prolific contributions and ongoing collaborations with premier research institutions continue to shape the future of materials science and industrial technology.
